Traditional Sunday Lunch Family Menu

Below is the 2011/2012 autumn/winter Traditional Sunday Lunch Family Menu at Zi' Teresa Italian restaurant in Beckenham. On arrival at Zi' Teresa you will be presented with a selection of home made breads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip for the table.

Starters

FRESH SOUP OF THE DAY (v)
Please ask your waiter.
TRICOLORE ZI' TERESA (v)
Avocado, mozzarella, tomatoes and marinated artichokes, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.
PRAWNS AND AVOCADO SALAD
Prawns mixed with mayonnaise and paprika dressing on a bed of mixed leaf salad and avocado.
SMOKED DUCK BREAST VINTAGE
Finely sliced and served on a bed of celeriac coleslaw and crushed walnuts, drizzled with vintage balsamic dressing.
PORTOBELLO MUSHROOMS CASALINGA (v)
Giant mushrooms filled with pesto and mozzarella cheese and baked.
COZZE MARINARA
Mussels in a spicy tomato sauce.
POLPETTINE DIAVOLA
Meatballs cooked with aromatic tomato sauce, pesto and mozzarella cheese.
KING PRAWNS TEMPURA
Deep fried king prawns served with sweet chilli dip.
PARMIGIANA ZI' TERESA (v) - also as a main course
Grilled aubergine and courgette slices baked with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce.
CHEF'S GRAVALAX
Chef's prepared marinated salmon slices on a bed of mixed leafs salad.
ITALIAN ANTIPASTO MISTO
Selection of mixed Italian salami and marinated artichokes.

Main Courses

TRADITIONAL ROAST BEEF
With all the trimmings.
SEA BASS FILLETS CONTADINA
Fillets of sea bass cooked with garlic, rosmarino, butter and a splash of white wine.
LAMB SHANK ZI' TERESA
Cooked in a specially prepared chef's sauce with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
PORK BELLY
Slowly roasted with aromatic herbs, served with potatoes and vegetables.
CHICKEN BREAST CASALINGA
Cooked with mushrooms, asparagus and sundried tomatoes in a white wine and cream sauce.
SALMONE PAESANA
Poached salmon with hollandaise sauce and prawns on a bed of pan fried spinach.
OCEAN PIE - individually baked
Smoked haddock, salmon, cod and prawns with leeks and sundried tomatoes, in a cream sauce with a splash of wine, topped with mashed potatoes.
HUNTERS PIE AND POTATO MASH GRATINE
A mixture of venison, pheasant and duck with shallots, mushrooms, carrots and celery, cooked in a red wine and tomato sauce, individually baked.
LASAGNA AL FORNO
Baked in a bolognese sauce and mozzarella cheese.
RISOTTO CAMPAGNOLA (v)
With mixed wild mushrooms, fresh spinach leafs and parmesan shavings.
OCEAN TAGLIATELLE PASTA
Smoked haddock, salmon, cod and prawns with leeks, sundried tomatoes and aromatic herbs, in a cream sauce with a splash of wine.
FUSILLI CON POLPETTINE DIAVOLA
Meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce with pesto.

The prices for Sunday lunch at Zi' Teresa Italian restaurant in Beckenham are, for a two course meal £15.75 and for a three course meal £19.75. Children's menu is priced at £10.50. A 10% service charge will be added to your final bill. Please contact us to book your table.
